In May 2009 we took a two week family vacation and traveled to Waynesville, NC where we spent some time catching up with family and from there we drove northeast and spent a week touring Washington D.C. Here are some pictures from the first part of that trip.

It's always hard saying goodbye to Granners and Grandad. We cherish the times we do get to spend with them and eagerly look forward to the times when we will see them again. We had a great time visiting with Ron, Queta, Don, Emily, Liz, Lance, Caitlin, Lydia, Eden, Hope, Rachel, Jack, Chloe, Uncle Dave & Aunt Phyllis, and were so happy they could all make the trip to Waynesville to meet Avery. The Lord has richly blessed us with such a full, loving, supportive family. We love you all so dearly!!!
