Avery's First Thanksgiving

On the Friday before Thanksgiving, November 21, 2009, Great-Grandpa Larry and Great-Grandma Lois came out to do an auction and decided to pay us a visit.

Here they are meeting Avery for the first time.

The next evening we all went out to celebrate Queta's 70th Birthday at Cafe Bizou in Pasedena. Here we are having cake and ice cream at our house after dinner.

Sleepy Peepy

These are just a few of our favorite sleeping pictures of Avery. After looking at these you'd probably think she slept all the time as a newborn...well, you would be mistaken. She has been VERY ALERT and VERY ACTIVE from day one. We're lucky if her naps last an hour. Usually they're more like 20 min cat naps. We can't complain though, at least she started sleeping 6 hours through the night at 6 weeks. Now she sleeps 9 hours!!!
